Marie’s Qualifications:

Marie has 12 years of experience working professionally in mental health with a focus on psychological trauma. Through her work within a variety of service settings, Marie developed an expertise in caring for patients of all ages experiencing reactions to traumatic experiences. Marie has a passion for preventative mental health care and advocacy. She recognizes the significance of medical offices and encounters in preventing trauma as well as making medical care accessible to those with traumatic symptoms. Marie’s offering of consultation is aimed to be mutually beneficial to medical providers as well as their patients.

Types of Consultation Offered:

  1. Trauma Informed Provider Consult

    • Collaboration with individual medical providers to support/improve care of a specific patient or situation.

    • Provide specialized recommendations relevant to the treatment setting and patient population.

    • List of relevant resources (continuing education, books, materials, products, local therapists, etc) .

  2. Trauma Informed Practice Staff Training

    • Provide in-person or virtual training aimed at improving staff’s ability to utilize trauma informed practices within the care setting.

  3. Trauma Informed Program Assessment

    • Complete program evaluation to determine gaps in knowledge, policies and practices. Provide recommendations and resources on how to improve trauma informed care.
