ABOUT MARIE

I consider it an honor to come alongside individuals and their families as they courageously navigate the challenges in their lives. As a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW), perinatal mental health professional (PMH-C) and trauma-sensitive yoga instructor (RYT200), I tend to the needs of the whole person: mind, body and spirit. I provide a client-centered, holistic approach to therapy through the use of evidenced based practices, mindfulness and body-based interventions.

Therapy is tailored to your unique circumstances as we work collaboratively toward achieving your specific goals.  I specialize in treating people who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, challenges within relationships, parenting and difficult life transitions.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned my Masters degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  I am certified in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Perinatal Mental Health. I have experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults in a variety of treatment settings, including residential, foster care, community mental health, hospital and private practice.
